We all take selfies … and likely countless other pictures with our phones now a days. BUT – how often do we stop to ‘take a picture’?
The other day we had frost overnight … the kind when you wake up in the morning, look outside to see what happened overnight or maybe to determine what the day is going to be weather wise – and there it is. Gorgeous frost on everything. It was beautiful. Shortly after I woke up a colleague texted me a picture of his view of the frost as he was out walking his dog. He took a great shot on his phone that kind of overlooked a tree/wooded area all covered in this beautiful frost.
I took a walk myself after the inspiration of what I could see out my window and the picture my friend sent me. I have a number of areas in the yard worthy of pictures so I went to get a good look at what this frost looks like up close in some of my favorite areas.
I encourage you … take the time to take a picture. I’m not talking about the quick snapshot we take all the time with our phones. Stop and take the time to look at the beauty, frame the picture in your head first so the memory is there forever … and then frame the picture and take the time to get it just right.

Why take the time? To have the perfect screen saver of course 🙂

I’m no photographer … but these built in cameras on our phones take some great shots!
